A film review is a text that usually appears in newspapers giving a personal opinion of a film or a book and a recommendation of it. In a film review you must talk about the plot, the characters, the acting, the music, and other aspects of the film that you find interesting.
Your film review can be negative, too. In this case, you must state clearly the things you don't like about the film and you mustn't recommend it.
And remember, a film review, positive or negative, must be persuasive!
