A documentary film that recreates with absolute fidelity the itinerary that Jacint Verdaguer followed in his ascent to La Maleïda (Aneto) in 1882, starting from La Seu d'Urgell on foot. Through the verses of the poet and the research texts of Bernat Gasull collected in the book Maleïda (Verdaguer Edicions, 2015), the spectator discovers an unknown Verdaguer, the adventurer, explorer and mountaineer, a pioneer in our country. The documentary reproduces the conditions, clothing, mountain equipment of the time, and the late nineteenth century's atmosphere in the villages where he passed at Alt Urgell, Pallars, and Aran. The documentary, rigorous in recreating the expedition and sensitive in the romantic poet's portrait, seeks the superman's myth, ready to conquer mountains and glaciers to write the great work of poems, Canigó, a true monument to the language and the landscapes of the Pyrenees.

These interactive activities are an educational initiative of the Terrassa City Council, through the Municipal Board for Education, and of a team of teachers at Torre del Palau Secondary School in this city. Their goal is to promote the use of new technologies in the classroom.
