War journalism. The Killing Fields
"The Killing Fields" is one of the films that has best reflected the risks involved in the profession of war correspondent.
This 1984 film tells the true story of Sydney Schanberg, a New York Times journalist who goes to Cambodia in 1973 to cover the information about the bombing that the U.S. aviation is carrying out on that country.
Little did he imagine the consequences of this decision not only on his life and on that of Dith Pran, his local interpreter.
