Kiseki, which means "miracle" in Japanese, is a very versatile film which guides us to the way children see the world, their capacity for fantasy and its power to change things.
A good film about everyday life in Japan that also talks about the importance of grandparents, friendship, the organization of the Japanese, the traumas that a divorce causes...
Where perhaps the film fails is in its inability to transmit all the emotional baggage that the story has which makes the film fall flat and also its excess of footage.
